That would be "Norm, SIR!" to you, Angel-Face.

    1. That's often the case with the best generals, innit?

  2. Another un-PC Dino bites the dust. Anther 20 years and the PC academic crowd will be spitting on his grave openly--not to mention re-writing history..

    1. The pointy heads in Academe have already begun the re-write. It's what they do.

I had two negative experiences with him. Plus, I didn't like how he ended the war. Very ugly ending.

The first bitch, was we were in a bus headed to our airplane at Riyadh military airport, when about three cars came blasting out of nowhere and these civilians with machine-guns pointed right at us, fanned-out blocking the road. Then a fourth car showed up and "The Bear" jumped onto his commuter jet. They didn't put down their guns until the plane was on the taxi runway. Must have been 15 minutes and we were in 120+ degree heat. I almost took my pistol out to aim when my flight suit was drenched in sweat.

The next thing I knew the fuck was in America, and we were all left in the desert another 12 years until Bush did a Pearl Harbor on Iraq. That General - General Franks, should be in a fucking prison getting beat-up every night. Everyone who fought in that war had one hand tied behind their back, and if you got killed at least you didn't have to sweat anymore.

...and that's the name of that tune!

George H. W. Bush owns the ending to that war, not Schwarzkopf. But I DO hear what yer sayin' in total (especially about the ROE). Ever been stopped in traffic for hours by a presidential motorcade? Same sorta thang.

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
